Months after many scenes filmed in the Philippines, we get to see the trailer of the Spy-Action Thriller movie “The Bourne Legacy” with half of it’s entire film are filmed in the streets of Manila & in the Island of Palawan.
In the Trailer we can see familiar places such as a residential area in Manila’s Ermita and Sta. Mesa districts and a portion of Jones Bridge. Even our local “Pedicab” and “Jeepney” are also seen on the trailer and you can see the entire shot of one of the busiest road in our country, Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) where the car chasing & jeepney bumping scenes happened.
Some scenes of “The Bourne Legacy” were shot in Palawan.
During the Manila shooting, several roads in Manila were closed to traffic to accommodate the film crew.
Both Actors Jeremy Renner & Rachel Weisz showed pleasant aura during their stay here and even complementing the Filipino people for their warm Hospitality. Actress Rachel Weisz shows utmost generosity by donating funds for the renovation of a playground at the San Andres Sports Complex, which served as the “Bourne Legacy” production team’s base camp while filming in the area last January. Actor Jeremy Renner also get the chance to visit the Malacanang palace and personally meet President Benigno Aquino III wearing “Barong Tagalog”.
The cast includes Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Albert Finney & Joan Allen who were also part of the last earlier installment of the franchise.
“The Bourne Legacy” is the latest installment of the popular spy-thriller franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office.
THE BOURNE LEGACY is directed by Tony Gilroy and will hit the theaters AUGUST 3, 2012.
